Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as an Insurance Risk Analyst to work in a truly global environment to support the current Insurance Risk Manager. The role provides long term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in the fast-paced soft commodities environment.

Established in 1783, ED&F Man is an employee-owned agricultural commodities merchant with 2,800 people in 43 countries and annual revenue in excess of $8bn. Key Accountabilities
- Consolidate and process monthly Insurance declarations for the Group
- Assist in daily management of Key Insurance Policies
- Respond to ad-hoc in-house Insurance queries
- Manage and oversee specific areas of cover in relation to Worldwide Storage facilities
- Undertake projects to improve the administrative side of Group Insurance
- Daily liaison with brokers, department colleagues and overseas Operations worldwide
- Engage regularly with the Insurance market including off-site meetings
- Review internal agreements and advise on relevant coverage available under Group Policies, (Warehouse Agreements / Purchase & Sale contracts)
- Assist with local placements and queries from overseas operations
- Periodic review of key insurance documents
- Ad hoc analysis projects
Skills and Experience
- Substantial experience within the commodities Industry working for either a Trade House or within the Insurance Market.
- Knowledge of Incoterms.
- Working knowledge of: Word Excel (advanced Excel skills) Outlook and Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills
