Established in 1783, ED&F Man is an employee-owned agricultural commodities merchant with 6,000 people in 60 countries and annual revenue in excess of $8bn. We trade sugar, coffee, molasses, animal feed and pulses.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as an experienced and high calibre Financial Analyst in our Sao Paulo office. This role provides long term potential for someone eager to further develop their career within the challenging and fast-paced soft commodities industry.

Main responsibilities:

  • Analysis of mergers / acquisitions and structured finance.
  • Construction of financial models in Excel for new business feasibility analysis.
  • Development of presentations and documents that will guide the business plan and approval by the company.
  • Monthly monitoring of investee companies and their management reports.
  • Credit analysis and setting exposure limits by counterparty.
  • Construction of presentations and monthly reports for performance monitoring of business areas.
  • Company's annual budget development. 


  •  Degree in Accounting, Management Sciences, Economics or Engineer
  • Capacity planning and organization complement the profile;
  • Microsoft Office Package: advanced skills (especially Excel).
  • Advanced English.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance and accounting.
