With a growing business in Uganda we are looking for talented individuals with existing knowledge of the agri-commodities sector to become part of our commercial team.
The specific requirement is for an Assistant General Manager to work alongside our General Manager supporting the day to day running and on-going strategic development of our business.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the coffee business and how to lead and run a business, the successful candidate will become part of the management team and develop both business and leadership skills and experience.
Main responsibilities, including but not limited to, would be as follows:

From single origin micro-lots to mainstream commercial grades and customised blends, we have what it takes to get the right product to our roaster and retail customers – on time, every time. We are also big on sustainability and traceability: our unique farmer outreach programme, known as The Volcafe Way, works direct with coffee growers to train them in best agronomy practice and sound business management.
